The HQ008 / HQ015 – SD-HQ Series Flameproof Linear-to-Rotary Electric Actuator is a compact, high-performance solution designed for precise valve and damper automation in hazardous industrial environments. It combines a linear stayput actuator with a linear-to-rotary conversion mechanism, enabling accurate quarter-turn control for butterfly, ball, plug valves, and dampers.

Engineered with a flameproof (Ex d) enclosure, the actuator ensures safe operation in explosive atmospheres such as oil & gas, chemical, and process industries. The integrated stayput motor design eliminates the need for torque switches, providing inherent protection while maintaining stable positioning.

The actuator operates through a precision trapezoidal screw and nut mechanism, converting rotary motor motion into linear thrust and further into controlled rotary output. This design ensures smooth, jerk-free operation, high positioning accuracy, and long service life.

Its self-locking mechanism securely holds valve position during power failure, while the rugged aluminium housing provides excellent resistance against harsh environmental conditions
